The academic programme at Annai Chellammal CBSE School is organised to meet the developmental needs of learners at each stage.
The early years emphasise play, language and activity; the primary years strengthen foundational knowledge through experience; the middle years expand subject understanding and application; and the secondary years provide structured preparation through a Foundation Programme.
Across all stages, the curriculum supports communication, numeracy, scientific thinking, social awareness, digital learning, creativity, physical education and values. Regular assessments help the school review student progress throughout the academic year.
Four stages. One continuous path of growth.
Pre-KG, LKG and UKG follow an activity-oriented approach that encourages young children to learn through participation, observation, conversation, movement and creative expression.
The programme focuses on readiness, confidence and a positive relationship with learning.
Classes I to V follow an experiential approach that connects concepts with activities, examples and practical understanding.
Students strengthen essential skills in language, Mathematics, Science and technology while continuing to develop general awareness, values and physical well-being.
Classes VI to VIII build deeper subject knowledge and encourage students to use language, reasoning and technology with increasing independence.
The programme combines core academics with Computer Education, vocational exposure, art and Physical Education.
Classes IX and X follow a structured Foundation Programme designed to strengthen understanding across the principal academic subjects and support disciplined preparation for secondary-level learning.
Language learning is enriched through activities that encourage students to speak, listen, remember, interpret and express ideas.
Proverbs and value-based discussions help learners understand practical wisdom, responsibility, health, time, self-help, prevention, cooperation and respect for others.
These activities support both communication skills and character development.Understanding progress. Supporting improvement.

Students are expected to attend all tests and examinations.
Parents are expected to review and sign report cards and answer papers within the specified time.
